Warsaw: The Polish Bank Association views the Azerbaijani banking sector as an important partner and considers the further deepening of strategic cooperation between the two countries a priority, said Wlodzimierz Kicinski, Executive Vice President of the Polish Bank Association, during his speech at the 9th Banking Forum.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kicinski highlighted the friendly relations and growing economic cooperation between Poland and Azerbaijan, which create new partnership opportunities in the banking sector. He emphasized that the Polish Bank Association, representing 550 banks including commercial and cooperative banks, is evolving in line with geopolitical challenges, increasing investment demand, and customer expectations.

He also mentioned that the Polish banking system is among the world leaders in terms of digitalization, with four Polish banks included among the 34 global leaders in digital banking. Kicinski further added that there is close cooperation between banking technologies and state institutions in Poland, and artificial intelligence is widely applied in financial services.
