Baku:The PostEurop General Assembly and Business Forum is scheduled to occur in Baku on October 7-8, 2026.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the event will be hosted by Azerpost LLC, a company under AZCON Holding, and will gather European postal operators, representatives from international organizations, and industry leaders. The two-day event will focus on strategic development priorities for the postal sector, adapting to evolving market conditions, customs and tariff changes impacting cross-border operations, and enhancing accessible and inclusive postal services.
The agenda for the first day includes statutory matters of the PostEurop General Assembly, implementation of strategies, and planning activities for the future. The second day will feature the Business Forum, concentrating on the challenges currently faced by the European postal sector, operational resilience, and the exploration of new approaches.
A special exhibition marking the 70th anniversary of EUROPA postage stamps is also planned alongside the General Assembly. Additionally, a special cancellation ceremony for a postage stamp dedicated to the event in Baku will be held.
Hosting this event highlights Azerbaijan's role in international postal cooperation and strengthens Azerpost's connections with the European postal community.
