Baku: A presentation ceremony of an explanatory dictionary for cities was held within the framework of WUF13, APA reports. The dictionary addresses a range of topics including 'Urban Planning and Design,' 'Urbanization and Settlement Patterns,' 'Housing and Land Stock,' 'Climate and Environment,' 'Green and Blue Infrastructure,' 'Mobility and Transport,' 'Inclusive and Sustainable Cities,' 'Smart Cities,' 'Governance, Policy and Finance,' and 'UN Frameworks.'

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, one of the compilers of the book, Shujaat Ahmadzada, emphasized that the primary audience for the publication is the general public. Ahmadzada stated, "That is, people interested in any topic can look at this book and say that these are the terms applied in relation to the urban environment. We understand that this book helps people take initiatives for better laws and become more active citizens in urban centers. In this way, they will be more informed and better understand what they want to see in the urban environment."

The creation of the dictionary was a collaborative effort involving the urban governance body, colleagues from the University of Architecture, Construction and Engineering in Uzbekistan, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, and the state public committee on architecture. These groups worked together to prepare and review the text as part of the process of developing urban terminology.

Ramil Jahangirov, Head of the Department for Project Management in the Liberated Territories at the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, highlighted the significance of the book in enhancing the comprehension of terminology and key educational concepts. He noted that the book serves as a valuable resource for both students and the academic community.
