Baku: The presentation ceremony of the 'Azerbaijani Language' platform was held at Azerbaijan University of Languages with notable attendees including Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, Head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva, and the project's author Alena Aliyeva.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event highlighted the platform's role in preserving and promoting the Azerbaijani language in a digital context.
During the ceremony, Rector Kamal Abdulla emphasized the platform's significance, aligning it with President Ilham Aliyev's commitment to the language's preservation. He proposed a Coordination Council to enhance synergy among similar initiatives. Alena Aliyeva expressed gratitude to the supporting entities and underscored education's societal role.
Vice-Rector Jala Garibova and project coordinator Sabina Aliyeva detailed the platform's functionalities, targeting diverse age groups. Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev congratulated the team, highlighting the platform's potential to enhance language learning and digital resources.
Pakistani doctoral student Mahmud Athar shared his positive experiences, while journalist Mikhail Gusman noted the rising global interest in the Azerbaijani language. The event, featuring an artistic program, concluded with commemorative photos, reinforcing the language's unifying power on the eve of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day.
