President Aliyev and President Dodik Discuss Cooperation in Kazan


KAZAN: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan met with President Milorad Dodik of the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Kazan to discuss bilateral relations and potential areas of cooperation.

According to Trend News Agency, during the meeting, President Dodik conveyed greetings from Željka Cvijanovic, the Chairwoman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to President Aliyev. President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the message and reciprocated with his regards to the Chairwoman. The discussions included President Dodik’s gratitude towards Azerbaijan for its support and congratulations on the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. He praised President Aliyev’s leadership and acknowledged the development of Azerbaijan under his guidance.

The meeting highlighted opportunities for expanding cooperation in sectors such as investment and pharmaceuticals. President Dodik noted the successful implementation of projects by Azerbaijani road infrastructure companies in
the Balkans and expressed interest in further collaboration. President Aliyev thanked President Dodik for his support regarding Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and recalled his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized the potential for cooperation in the fields of energy, transport infrastructure, and investments, reflecting the mutual interest in strengthening ties between the two regions.
