President Aliyev Approves Healthcare Agreement with Russia


BAKU: President Ilham Aliyev has officially approved an agreement with Russia aimed at enhancing cooperation in healthcare, medical education, and medical science. This move marks a significant step in the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in the health sector.

According to Trend News Agency, the agreement, which was initially signed on August 19, 2024, in Baku, is now set to move forward following the President’s decree. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with ensuring the implementation of the agreement’s provisions. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for notifying the Russian Government about the completion of necessary domestic procedures for the agreement’s activation.
