BAKU: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has conveyed his condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey following a terrorist attack in Ankara. The attack, which targeted Turkish Aerospace Industries, resulted in both casualties and injuries.

According to Trend News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his profound shock and sorrow over the incident in a letter addressed to President Erdogan. In his message, Aliyev condemned the attack as a “heinous act of terrorism” and extended condolences on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan. He offered his sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of Turkey, while also wishing the injured a swift recovery. Aliyev concluded his message with a prayer for the deceased, invoking peace for their souls.
