Munich: The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has characterized the attacks on Azerbaijan's diplomatic missions in Ukraine as unfriendly acts against the country. Speaking at the 'Open corridor policy? Deepening Trans-Caspian cooperation' panel during the Munich Security Conference, Aliyev highlighted the repeated assaults on Azerbaijan's energy infrastructure and embassy in Ukraine.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the President noted that Azerbaijan's embassy in Ukraine was attacked three times. He pointed out that after the first incident, the attacks could have been perceived as accidental. However, subsequent attacks suggest a deliberate targeting of Azerbaijan's diplomatic presence.

The President disclosed that Azerbaijan had shared the exact locations of its diplomatic facilities with Russian partners, including consular sections and cultural centers, in an effort to prevent further attacks. Despite these measures, the attacks persisted, prompting Azerbaijan to take diplomatic actions. The Azerbaijani government issued statements, summoned the ambassador, and presented a diplomatic note in response to the incidents.

President Aliyev reiterated that the Azerbaijani government has taken all necessary diplomatic steps to address the situation, underscoring the seriousness with which these attacks are regarded.
