President Aliyev Discusses Strategic Partnership with Bosnian Deputy Chairman


Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Zukan Helez, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on March 17. During their meeting, both leaders exchanged views on strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in the military sector. They highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration between their respective defense ministries and defense industry institutions.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Bosnian Minister noted the significance of Azerbaijan’s Victory in the Patriotic War and emphasized Azerbaijan’s involvement in various sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He expressed readiness to continue cooperation in these areas in the future.



President Ilham Aliyev recalled his official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where a Joint Declaration on strategic partnership was signed. He reiterated Azerbaijan’s commitment to fulfilling the requirements of this document and contributing to further cooperation.



The meeting also involved discussions on future prospects for collaboration and other matters of mutual interest, as both nations seek to strengthen their strategic partnership.
