Dubai:President Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai, following the death of his brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, President Aliyev expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, acknowledging him as a prominent statesman.

In his letter, President Aliyev conveyed his personal sympathy and the condolences of the Azerbaijani people, expressing solidarity with Sheikh Mohammed and his family during this difficult time. He concluded his message with a prayer for peace for the departed soul.
