Nakhchivan: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has declared that Azerbaijan ranks first among countries in the region with no electricity supply issues. This statement was made during an interview with Azerbaijan Television in Nakhchivan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev noted that while many countries in the region are currently facing an energy crisis, Azerbaijan remains unaffected. The President attributed the regional energy challenges to ongoing wars, increasing risks, and disruptions in energy resource transportation, which have strained supply chains. Despite these challenges, he reassured that Azerbaijan's electricity supply remains stable and suggested that potential future events could further stress regional energy resources, but emphasized that Azerbaijan is well-prepared to handle such situations.
