Baku:President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of increasing media literacy as a vital component for establishing sustainable trust while addressing the participants of the CICA Media Forum on 'Building Trust through Media in a Polarized World,' organized by the Media and Broadcasting Council.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev stressed that reliable information should serve as a benchmark of quality not only in professional journalism but across the entire information landscape.

He further noted the necessity of strengthening cooperation among public institutions, media organizations, digital platforms, journalists, scholars, and civil society. The responsible use of new technologies, alongside media literacy, was highlighted as crucial to forming a trustworthy foundation.
