Kalbajar: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the efforts to fully restore the sovereignty of the country from November 10, 2020, to September 19, 2023, during a meeting with residents of Kalbajar city. He highlighted that the cessation of the war on November 10, 2020, was a crucial step, although some lands remained outside the country’s control at that time.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev detailed several strategic actions taken during this period. These included the elimination of the so-called Lachin corridor and its transformation into the Lachin-Khankendi road, the establishment of a checkpoint on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and the capture of important strategic heights through operations such as Farrukh, Girkhgiz, and Saribaba. Aliyev described these actions as part of a consistent policy that has become a significant chapter in the country’s history.
