BAKU—President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan recently underscored the significant contribution of Azerbaijani scientists living abroad to the development of the nation's diaspora, during his address at the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed that the presence of a large number of scientists among the Azerbaijani diaspora presents substantial opportunities for the country, especially in a period marked by the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The president noted the symbolic importance of the forum and its role in fostering collaborations that align with Azerbaijan's national interests.

The Azerbaijani government has made concerted efforts to strengthen ties with diaspora scientists, facilitating their involvement in various national projects and programs.
