Baku: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan expressed his admiration for Kyrgyzstan's accomplishments during the third meeting of the Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, held in Cholpon-Ata. The president emphasized the strong ties between the two nations, referring to them as "friends and brothers," and shared his joy in witnessing Kyrgyzstan's progress.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev conveyed his gratitude for the invitation to visit Kyrgyzstan and the hospitality extended to him and his delegation. He remarked on the development and growth he observed in Kyrgyzstan, attributing it to the effective leadership within the country. This visit, although not his first, left a lasting impression on him regarding the country's advancements.
President Aliyev commended Kyrgyzstan for its socio-economic achievements, highlighting the strengthening of its economic potential and its enhanced role on the international stage. He noted the visible progress in sectors such as construction and finance, as well as the increase in the state budget, which he believes contributes to the prosperity of the Kyrgyz people. The Azerbaijani leader expressed that these achievements are a source of joy for Azerbaijan, as the two countries share common roots and view each other's successes as mutual.
