President: All of Garabagh and East Zangezur Resemble a Vast Construction Site

Jabrayil: ‘Today, all of Garabagh and East Zangezur resemble a vast construction site,’ President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with residents of Horovlu village in Jabrayil district.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the head of state noted that more than 50,000 people already live, work, and study in Garabagh and East Zangezur. About 20,000 of these individuals are former internally displaced persons (IDPs) who have returned to their homeland, to their native lands. The remaining population consists of people working in various fields.

The president’s remarks highlight the ongoing reconstruction and development efforts in the region, emphasizing the return of displaced families and the integration of workers into the local economy. The transformation of Garabagh and East Zangezur into an active construction hub demonstrates the focus on rebuilding and revitalizing the area.
