Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has announced that a project to lay power transmission lines from mainland Azerbaijan to Nakhchivan through Armenia is ready. In an interview with Azerbaijan Television, conducted in Nakhchivan, President Aliyev discussed the broader implications of the Zangezur Corridor initiative.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that while the initial focus of the Zangezur Corridor was on transportation, the scope has now expanded. The President explained that the project for establishing power transmission lines represents a significant step in enhancing connectivity between Azerbaijan and its exclave, Nakhchivan, through Armenian territory.
