Baku: “We enjoy successful cooperation across numerous areas, and both our countries pursue independent policies with a confident outlook toward the future,” President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during a one-on-one meeting with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the historical ties between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, which form the foundation of their current relations. He expressed confidence that Berdimuhamedov’s visit would provide new impetus to the partnership between the two countries.
