Shusha: ‘We need Economic Cooperation Organization to be more consolidated and efficient,’ President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated during a meeting with participants of the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the necessity for a multilateral approach among member states within the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). He highlighted the existence of both active and less active bilateral partnerships and underscored Azerbaijan’s commitment as the current chair to lead the organization towards success.

The President expressed confidence that Azerbaijan’s efforts in this role would be acknowledged by the other members. His remarks pointed to a strategic vision for the ECO to enhance its collaborative mechanisms, fostering more unified regional economic policies and initiatives.
