Baku: President Edgars Rinkevics of Latvia emphasized the strategic importance of Azerbaijan as a partner for numerous European countries during his speech at the Azerbaijan-Latvia Business Forum in Baku on April 22. Addressing the forum, he highlighted the significance of reliable partnerships amid current global uncertainties.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Rinkevics stated that Latvia, as a member of the European Union, the OECD, and NATO, is prepared to foster cooperation between Azerbaijan and these organizations. He expressed Latvia's readiness to leverage its expertise to enhance economic relations.
President Rinkevics further underlined the value of Azerbaijan as a strategic partner, not only for Latvia but also for many other European nations. He pointed out that this partnership extends across political and economic spheres, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector.
