Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has revealed that crude oil constitutes the main component of Azerbaijan's exports to Germany, with the trade turnover between the two countries reaching approximately $1.5 billion last year. This announcement was made during a joint press conference with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev asserted Azerbaijan's capability to supply oil in required volumes, highlighting that this can be achieved both through domestic resources and via the trading arm of the state energy company, SOCAR. He further assured that there are no issues in maintaining these export levels.
