Baku: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the significance of the First Turkological Congress in shaping the current projects of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) during his address at the Turkic World Week, celebrating the congress's 100th anniversary. He stated that the progressive ideas from the congress are fundamental to creating a shared humanitarian space among the Turkic nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed that the Turkic world is on a trajectory to become a major geopolitical force, honoring the legacy of Azerbaijan's ancestors who contributed to a great civilization. He assured that Azerbaijan remains committed to enhancing the unity and strength of the Turkic family.
