President Ilham Aliyev Aims for Unity in the Muslim World

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev expressed his commitment to uniting the Muslim world during a meeting with participants of international conferences in Baku. He emphasized the importance of resolving ongoing disputes and misunderstandings between Muslim countries ahead of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan next year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev stated his belief that the upcoming Summit would yield positive outcomes. He expressed hope that conflicts between certain Muslim nations would be resolved by the time of the event. President Aliyev assured that Azerbaijan would do everything within its power to unify the Muslim world as a single family, aiming to end disputes and prevent confrontations.

The President also addressed elements that seek to divide the Muslim community, asserting that efforts would be made to counteract any attempts to harm the religion of Islam. His remarks reflect a proactive stance in promoting solidarity and cooperation among Muslim countries, with the upcoming Summit serving as a potential turning point for resolving existing issues.
