KAZAN: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Dilma Rousseff, the President of the New Development Bank, in Kazan to discuss potential avenues for collaboration. The meeting focused on climate finance and Azerbaijan’s upcoming role as host of COP29.

According to Trend News Agency, Dilma Rousseff expressed her enthusiasm about attending COP29, which is scheduled to take place in Baku. She emphasized the importance of climate finance for international financial institutions and highlighted the significance of the conference from this perspective.

The discussions between President Aliyev and President Rousseff also explored opportunities for mutual cooperation, underscoring the potential for collaboration between Azerbaijan and the New Development Bank.
