Baku: President Ilham Aliyev announced that preparatory work is underway for the construction of two large reservoirs, the 'Hakarichay' and 'Bargushadchay', in the liberated territories. He made this declaration during a meeting focused on the State Program for 2026-2035, which aims to enhance water supply, wastewater, and stormwater systems in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted the significance of these projects, stating that practical work is expected to commence this year. The development of these reservoirs is part of the ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and resource management in the region.
