President Ilham Aliyev Approves Memorandum of Understanding with UAE

Baku: The 'Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the exchange of government experiences between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates' has been approved, APA reports. President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has given his official approval by signing a decree to enact this agreement.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree stipulates that once the Memorandum of Understanding takes effect, it will be the responsibility of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to ensure the implementation of its provisions. Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with notifying the Government of the United Arab Emirates about the completion of internal procedures required for the Memorandum's activation.

It is noteworthy that this memorandum was initially signed in Dubai on February 4, 2026.
