Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sanctioned new regulations concerning the country's diplomatic entities, including embassies, permanent missions, consulates, and honorary consuls.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the regulations encompass the 'Regulation on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan,' the 'Regulation on the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan,' the 'Regulation on the Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan,' and the 'Regulation on the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Azerbaijan.' These were part of a decree signed by President Aliyev.

The newly approved 'Regulation on the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan' is also set to be implemented for the Representation Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Similarly, the 'Regulation on the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan' will extend to the Representation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The decree further instructs the Cabinet of Ministers to address any issues that may arise from the implementation of these new regulations.
