Dushanbe: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in Tajikistan at the invitation of President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The visit marks President Aliyev’s participation in the meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a guard of honor was arranged for President Aliyev upon his arrival at Dushanbe International Airport. He was welcomed by Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with other officials.
