Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order awarding employees of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the order bestows several honors upon the committee's employees. Two employees were conferred the 3rd degree 'For Service to the Fatherland' Order, two individuals received the 'Progress' medal, and six employees were awarded the medal 'For Distinction in the Civil Service' for their effective service in the customs authorities.

Under a separate presidential order, one employee of the State Customs Committee was awarded the higher special rank of 'Colonel General of Customs Service,' while three employees were conferred the higher special ranks of 'Major General of Customs Service.'
