Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on awarding the State Prizes of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the fields of science and culture for 2026, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Prizes have been awarded to notable individuals for their significant contributions in their respective fields. In the field of science, Asaf Haji oghlu Hajiyev received a prize for his work on 'Multidimensional Regression Analysis and Artificial Intelligence', while Tarikh Meyrut oghlu Dostiyev was recognized for his fundamental scientific results from archaeological excavations in the medieval cities of Ganja and Shamkir.

In the field of culture, Eldar Hidayat oghlu Mikayilzadeh was honored for his creative works including the series 'Azerbaijani Carpet - Dance of Loops', 'Khamsa', and the triptych 'Heavenly Religions'.
