Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, in light of the upcoming Spring Festival, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations to Xi Jinping and the people of China on behalf of both himself and the citizens of Azerbaijan. He highlighted the Spring Festival as an ancient celebration that symbolizes peace, harmony, renewal, and hope, and represents mutual understanding, friendship, and unity. President Aliyev wished for the festival, also known as Chunjie, to bring joy, prosperity, and abundance to the Chinese people.

President Aliyev emphasized the satisfaction with the ongoing deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China. He noted that the strong foundation and the intensity of political dialogue and mutual understanding between the two nations create favorable conditions for further development and strengthening of bilateral relations.

In his letter, President Aliyev expressed confidence that the traditional friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between Azerbaijan and China will continue to grow through joint efforts.
