Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Malta, Her Excellency Mrs. Miriam Spiteri Debono, APA reports. In his message, President Aliyev extended his heartfelt congratulations to President Debono and the people of Malta on the occasion of Malta’s Independence Day.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his belief in the continued joint efforts to foster friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Malta. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations, and the Azerbaijani leader highlighted the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

President Aliyev concluded his letter by wishing President Debono good health, success in her endeavors, and ongoing peace and prosperity for the people of Malta on this important day.
