Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Paraguay Santiago Pe±a on the occasion of the country's national holiday - Independence Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter expressed President Aliyev's warm congratulations on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan. He extended his heartfelt wishes to President Pe±a and the people of Paraguay on their national day.

The letter further conveyed President Aliyev's belief in the continued joint efforts to develop friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Paraguay. The Azerbaijani leader emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between the two nations on both bilateral and multilateral levels.

President Aliyev concluded his letter by wishing President Pe±a robust health, happiness, and success, as well as peace and prosperity for the friendly people of Paraguay.
