Baku: President Ilham Aliyev announced that the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan have successfully eliminated some war criminals and detained others, including leaders of the separatists, as a result of the Second Patriotic War and subsequent anti-terrorist operations. These individuals have been brought to justice, the President stated during a meeting with representatives of the Khojaly district community, as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev described this effort as a complete triumph of justice, highlighting the unity and heroism of the Azerbaijani people in both 2020 and 2023. He credited the professionalism, dedication, and courage of the Armed Forces for securing justice, emphasizing the significance of organizing fair trials for those detained as a final manifestation of justice.
