President Ilham Aliyev Distributes Apartment Keys to Zangilan Villagers

Zangilan: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with residents of Mammadbayli and Aghali villages in Zangilan district, presenting keys to apartments for those moving into the villages.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his joy on this significant day for the residents, as 100 families are moving into Aghali village and new accommodations have been constructed for 180 families in Mammadbayli village. He highlighted the expansion of Aghali and the new infrastructure in Mammadbayli, congratulating the returning residents and assuring them of a comfortable life in their homeland.

President Aliyev remarked on the progress of the Great Return program, with residents having lived in Aghali for over three years. He noted the transformation of barren lands into thriving communities, thanks to the efforts of the returning residents and government support. The President emphasized the continued development in the region, including the construction of residential complexes, educational and health facilities, and religious sites.

He also reiterated the strategic significance of the region as a transport hub due to the Zangezur and Araz corridors. President Aliyev underscored the commitment to rebuilding and creating in the liberated lands, contrasting it with the destruction previously inflicted by Armenians. He affirmed that the people of Azerbaijan, as the rightful owners, will continue to live and build on these lands.

The residents expressed gratitude for the support and facilities provided by the government. Following the key handover ceremony, the President and residents posed for photographs to commemorate the occasion.
