The discussion took place on May 26 and focused on the exchange of best wishes and congratulations in honor of the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha. Both leaders expressed hopes for prosperity and abundance for the peoples of their respective countries.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the conversation also included a note of gratitude from President Pezeshkian for the humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan during challenging times faced by Iran. President Aliyev emphasized the mutual support between Azerbaijan and Iran, highlighting that both nations remain supportive of each other in both favorable and challenging situations.
