President Ilham Aliyev Expresses Gratitude to Uzbek President for Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Tashkent: President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to the Uzbek President for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations during the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was reported by APA's special correspondent.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev conveyed his appreciation for the invitation to Uzbekistan, highlighting the hospitality and warm relations extended towards Azerbaijan and its people. He acknowledged the Uzbek President's personal contribution to the growth of the bilateral relationship.

President Aliyev noted that a short video presentation shown before the meeting effectively outlined the ongoing projects between the two nations. Some projects have already been implemented, while others are in progress. He emphasized the significance of having a clear agenda for enhancing cooperation and expressed optimism that as current projects are completed, new initiatives will emerge. The presentation was praised for covering the main areas of collaboration between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
