President Ilham Aliyev Extends Condolences to Turkish President Over Plane Crash

Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a message of condolences to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the crash of a Turkish military cargo plane, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev expressed sorrow over the event. The Turkish Air Force military cargo plane, which departed from Ganja, Azerbaijan, tragically crashed in Georgian territory, resulting in the loss of servicemen.

The letter conveyed President Aliyev’s heartfelt condolences to President Erdogan, the families and loved ones of the deceased, and the people of Trkiye. President Aliyev emphasized solidarity with Trkiye during this difficult time and expressed his personal grief along with that of the Azerbaijani people.

President Aliyev concluded the message by wishing peace for the souls of those who lost their lives in the crash.
