Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has extended condolences to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, over the numerous casualties and destruction caused by severe flooding in the state of Texas, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev expressed shock and sympathy in response to the devastating floods in Texas. The letter conveyed condolences on behalf of himself and the people of Azerbaijan to President Trump, the families of those who lost their lives, and the entire American populace. President Aliyev also wished for a swift recovery for the injured.
