President Ilham Aliyev Extends Russia Day Greetings to Vladimir Putin

Baku: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has addressed a congratulatory letter to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the national holiday, Russia Day, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter from President Aliyev conveyed heartfelt congratulations to President Putin and the Russian people. It highlighted the enduring friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual respect that have long characterized the relationship between Azerbaijan and Russia. President Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the active progression of bilateral trade and economic interaction, as well as the expansion of interregional, cultural, and humanitarian ties.

President Aliyev expressed his conviction that joint efforts would continue to foster the development and strengthening of Azerbaijani-Russian relations. He emphasized the importance of strategic partnership and alliance for the benefit of both nations.

In concluding the letter, President Aliyev wished President Putin robust health and success, and extended his best wishes for the well-being and prosperity of all Russian citizens.
