Zangilan: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the extensive environmental damage inflicted by Armenian forces during his address to residents in Zangilan. He detailed the devastation, noting that approximately 60,000 hectares of forest were destroyed. The majority of this destruction took place in the Kalbajar and Lachin districts, with significant damage also in Zangilan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev described the actions as looting, hostility, and cruelty, with no justification for such acts. He pointed out that Azerbaijan had not harmed the Armenian people, suggesting that the deep-rooted animosity should be examined by specialists like psychiatrists, psychologists, and doctors. The president stressed the importance of vigilance as long as political forces in Armenia harbor hatred toward Azerbaijan.
