Baku: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the increasing dynamism in Azerbaijan-Iran relations. In a congratulatory letter to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of Iran's national holiday, the Victory of the Islamic Revolution, President Aliyev highlighted the positive developments in the bilateral relations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the importance of the relationship between Azerbaijan and Iran, which is rooted in common religious and cultural ties and good-neighborly relations. He noted that the development of these bonds is of special significance to Azerbaijan.

President Aliyev also pointed out that the bilateral agenda between the two nations is expanding and is being enriched with new content. The president remarked on the increasing frequency of visits at various levels, the signing of multiple agreements, and the implementation of joint projects. These activities, he stated, are creating favorable conditions for further cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.
