President Ilham Aliyev Highlights Role of OTS in Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Relations

Baku: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the significant role of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in strengthening the ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, citing it as a crucial platform for enhancing political dialogue, economic relations, and humanitarian cooperation. In an interview with the ‘Kazinform’ agency, APA reports that the Azerbaijani leader highlighted the impact of OTS since its inception in 2009 in Nakhchivan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev noted the organization’s contributions to fostering collaboration and unity among Turkic nations. He mentioned the informal summit held in Shusha last year and the recent 12th Summit of the OTS Heads of State in Gabala. These meetings, he stated, addressed essential cooperation issues and resulted in declarations aimed at fortifying the OTS and consolidating the Turkic world’s influence on the global stage.

President Aliyev further elaborated on the systematic and progressive cooperation within cultural, humanitarian, and educational fields among OTS member countries. He described various joint initiatives, including festivals, exhibitions, literary evenings, conferences, and partnerships among academic and educational institutions, as examples of the collaborative efforts under the OTS framework.
