Baku: President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the strategic and long-term nature of transport and logistics cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan during a press statement with Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. He highlighted the significance of this partnership not just for the two nations and their neighbors, but also for a broader geographical region.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev stated, "Today, much was also said about transport and logistics. Cooperation in this area between our countries is already of a long-term nature - I would even say strategic - not only for us and our neighbors, but also for a much wider geography." He further noted the achievement of establishing reliable and secure transport routes that connect cooperating countries amidst a global scarcity of such routes.
