Tashkent: "Cooperation in the media sphere has produced important results. On September 23-25, 2024, the 1st Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan Media Forum was convened in Tashkent, while the 2nd Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum was held in Baku on September 29, 2025," President Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with the Uzbekistan National News Agency (UzA), APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the President also discussed the achievements in NGO cooperation between the two countries. In 2023, the 1st Forum of Cooperation of NGOs of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in Fuzuli, followed by the 2nd Forum in Tashkent in 2024. These forums led to a joint grant competition in 2026, aimed at implementing winning projects across both nations. Winning projects from Azerbaijan will be executed in Uzbekistan, and those from Uzbekistan will be implemented in Azerbaijan.
