President Ilham Aliyev Honors Energy Sector Employees with State Awards

BAKU: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has officially recognized the contributions of several energy sector workers through a formal decree, honoring them for their roles in advancing the nation's energy sector. The decree, detailed in a recent report by Trend, highlights the achievements of these individuals in enhancing Azerbaijan's energy development. According to Trend News Agency, the presidential decree lists the awards conferred upon the distinguished employees. The "Emek" Order of the 3rd degree was awarded to six individuals: Khalilov Sahib, Nasirov Tahir, Rzayev Ogtay, Sadygov Nadir, Suleymanov Fazail, and Taraggi Medal. Additionally, a broader group was honored with the Taraggi medal, recognizing their productive activities in the sector. The recipients include Jafarov Namig, Dadashev Elchin, Eyvazov Zal, Akbarov Azer, Aliyeva Sabina, Huseynova Batura, Iskandarov Mayil, Ismayilov Ariz, Gasimov Nemat, Makhmudov Elmar, Mammadov Elshan, Mammadzade Araz, Mirza-Agaev Farid, Nuriev Elbrus, Panahov B ahram, Rafiyev Adil, Rzayev Bashir, Sadygov Sadig, Safarov Taleh, and Valiyev Ramiz. The decree is based on paragraph 23 of Article 109 of the Republic of Azerbaijan's Constitution, which empowers the President to recognize outstanding contributions to national development. This formal acknowledgment underscores the Azerbaijani government's effort to promote excellence and dedication within key economic sectors, particularly energy, which is a significant part of the nation's economy and global stature.
