Zangilan: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev inspected the progress of the second phase of Aghali village and attended the opening of Mammadbayli village in Zangilan district on October 28, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the second phase of Aghali village includes the construction of 103 houses, comprising 55 two-room individual houses and three three-story, two-block ‘Townhouse’-type buildings containing 36 one-room and 12 two-room apartments. Communication lines have been laid to all houses, and all residential and non-residential buildings have been supplied with gas, with combi boilers installed in the houses. A park covering more than 2 hectares has also been established, serving as an open recreation and entertainment zone for residents and guests. The park area is divided into five functional zones, catering to children’s recreation, sports, and entertainment, and features various trees and ornamental plants.

President Ilham Aliyev also attended the opening of Mammadbayli village in Zangilan district. The village covers 51.6 hectares and includes 188 individual houses of varying sizes. Each home is equipped with a fenced yard, solar panels, and connections to essential utilities and high-speed internet. The village infrastructure includes two multifunctional non-residential buildings and administrative facilities with artistic designs. Internal roads are fully asphalted.

Situated near Aghali village, Mammadbayli is connected via a dedicated passage, allowing easy access to Agali’s infrastructure, which includes a secondary school, kindergarten, Family Health Center, and other essential services. After touring the village facilities, President Ilham Aliyev met with residents relocating to Mammadbayli and Aghali, personally presenting them with house keys.
