Jabrayil: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized themselves with the construction of the 150-bed Jabrayil District Central Hospital on May 9, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister of Health Teymur Musayev provided details to the head of state and the First Lady regarding the ongoing and planned construction activities. The hospital's foundation was laid by President Aliyev in 2021, covering an area of nearly 5 hectares. It will feature departments for therapy, surgery, pediatrics, maternity, infectious diseases, anesthesiology-resuscitation, and hemodialysis among others.
Additionally, the facility will host a polyclinic, radiology-diagnostics, functional diagnostics, physiotherapy, medical rehabilitation departments, and a clinical diagnostic laboratory. The project includes the development of the main building, buildings for infectious diseases, hemodialysis, and polyclinic, an emergency medical station, and the Jabrayil District Hygiene and Epidemiology Center, alongside other facilities currently under construction.
