Khankendi:President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, participated in the groundbreaking ceremonies for the Library and Innovation Center buildings at Garabagh University on November 7.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev was briefed on the development projects which aim to enhance educational and research infrastructure at the university.

The planned library will play a crucial role in supporting educational, research, and innovation activities. It will provide modern information resources and foster an academic environment centered around students. The facility is designed to accommodate approximately 1,100 students at a time, offering dedicated spaces for individual and group study, meetings, and academic collaboration. Beyond serving the university's academic needs, the library will act as an information hub for the regional community, promoting scientific discussions and the exchange of knowledge and experience.

The Innovation Center is set to become a pivotal component of Garabagh University's infrastructure, promoting research findings and supporting modern technologies and innovative ideas. It aims to enhance students' creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while expanding university-industry cooperation. The Center will support initiatives contributing to the socio-economic development of the Garabagh region, develop solutions tailored to local needs, and foster collaboration between the university, government agencies, and the private sector.
