Davos: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting with Jacob Aarup-Andersen, CEO of Carlsberg Group, in Davos. During the meeting, the two parties discussed several projects aimed at facilitating the production of fully locally sourced products.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, significant attention was given to the operation of the barley malt processing facility in Imishli, a vital component for beer production. Discussions also included plans for the future localization of packaging material production, further emphasizing the commitment to local sourcing.
Jacob Aarup-Andersen noted that exports of products manufactured by Carlsberg Group in Azerbaijan saw a significant increase in 2025. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the favorable conditions for foreign investors in Azerbaijan, highlighting the country's supportive business environment.
